All AI Chatbot Hub's users can set up their own OpenAI (or other AI models) API key inside their AI Chatbot Hub accounts and enjoy unlimited messages.

At the moment, users can use an API key from 4 different LLM providers:

We strongly recommend getting an API key to benefit from paying only per use directly to the LLM, rather than buying sets of 1,000 message credits from us.

It takes a couple of minutes to get an api key, store it safely, and paste it into your account on AI Chatbot Hub.

We also recommend setting up automatic recharges. This will ensure your chatbot is always available.

After you obtain your API key, store it in a private and secure location. Next, navigate to AI Chatbot Hub. After logging in, go to the top right corner of the UI. Click on the “Add API key” button that brings up a dropdown menu.

In the “OpenAI API Key” section, paste your API key and click “Add”.

You should be all set.

The process to insert the API key is the same with Claude and Gemini.

Don't panic, an API key is just a long set of numbers and characters. There is no need to know how to code

How to get an OpenAI API key

To set up your own OpenAI API key, you will first need to apply for one directly from OpenAI’s website. Sign up for an account on OpenAI, then go to this link: .

Don't forget to add your organization's billing details and initial credit on OpenAI's platform here or else the chatbot won't work and your users will see the following message: "Our servers are currently overloaded; please try again later. Thank you for your patience as we continue to scale our services." The same applies with the other LLMs. Make sure to have balance on your account!
